At the Battery Show Europe, Emergent Vision Technologies presented an update of its Eros camera family. The new models integrate Sony’s latest SWIR sensors (IMX990 – 993) and offer resolutions from 0.3 to 5.24MP with frame rates up to 258.8fps. The cameras maintain the Eros line’s key features: 29×29mm housing, power consumption as low as 3W (SFP+) and support for 2.5, 5, and 10GigE interfaces, all via standard RJ45. The SWIR Eros models target high-speed, space-constrained applications such as battery inspection and material sorting.
