Euresys Coaxlink family has been expanded with the Coaxlink Quad CXP-12 3D-LLE. The CXP-12 frame grabber has on-board laser line extraction for 3D profiling. The integrated FPGA measures the position of the laser line during image acquisition without loading the host CPU. With single and dual laser line extraction into a depth map a real-time generation of 16-bit 3D height maps is possible. Users can choose the algorithms (Maximum, Peak, Center of Gravity). Precision is up to 1/256 pixel and the performance 76,000 profiles/s (1024×128 images) or 152,000 profiles/s (1024×64 images).
