With the new ‘Target Mark 3D’ function of the vision sensor Visor Robotic of Sensopart simplifies the spatial orientation of handling and assembly robots – with just a few mouse clicks and minimal programming effort in the robot controller. All that is required is to attach a target mark and select the Target Mark 3D detector in the sensor’s configuration software. In the robot controller, all that is required is to refer to the position of the target mark during the initial setup. After that, the vision sensor is able to extract the 3D information from the image and pass on any displacement to the robot. Multiple targets can also be placed within a production environment to automate different processes.
